Might as well work on your bike with the 50+ inches of snow you guys have gotten up there in the past month.

The snow is almost all gone now. It's getting up in the mid 30's all day. I wanted to take the kids bike out for ride today but he has a leaking valve stem.
I'm supposed to pick up my rims and hubs from the powdercoater tomorrow. If I do I'll snap a shot before I send them off for spokes and lacing. I went with black and new stainless spokes. Should look pretty good. Now I just need to get in there and clean up the frame a little.

I'm going to have to pull the arm off because I put the wrong sleeve in it.
Of course I'll have to pound out the brand new bearings I just put in to get the sleeves swapped out.
Oh well I didn't clean up the arm like I wanted to so it'll give me a chance to sand it and buff it out a little better.

The wheels look great, can't wait for the shinny spokes. Now laying them on the car, hope your wife doesn't find out!

No wife here so I don't have to worry. Besides thats my beater winter car. If I listed all the things wrong with it I don't think they would fit on this page. In the second pic you can see the dent and thats the good part of the car.  I got it from a friend about 6 years ago for $500 and it won't die even after the kids drove it for a winter.

Finally got my wheel back and also got my new tire on the same day.
The wheel looks great and the powdercoat is still intact.

Look's awsome don, ya that is a good thing about being single, you can put the bearing in your rear wheel on the kitchen counter, and there is no woman there to complain about it......lol. That rim look's killer in the black powdercoat. Buchcannon's did and awsome job lacing that wheel.
