"Did u have to do any frame clearance work at all?"... Nope, seriously... Ended up with about 1/8" clearance.

My ZX6RR swingarm is dead center and after measuring the rim differences, hub width off center line, amnericanclassic.com 13.5mm German offset 18 tooth counter sprocket, their offered swingarm with hub extender etc... it all came out to ~ 1/16th of an inch or less difference.

As mentioned, I got lucky!

That does seem odd that i have no o-ring and needed to clearance so much. your sprocket is 1/8" less but the o-ring must add 1/16"?
O well it dosnt realy matter.just as long as it all works out in the end.
you said 18 tooth sprocket. did u mean 16 . u have a 630 dont u?

No real updates again. Well, I picked up 2 RD350's and have been playing with the one I ended up with after the coin toss. That's how I live. Give me a coin and I'll let it decide. Real close to running so I'm really starting to consider going crazy with the KZ build. Kinda making it a longer term project than originally planned and making it super detailed and use the RD as a learner/rider since it's so close to running now. I keep missing out on 750 triple engines which is what I was hoping to put in the KZ. Maybe I should just keep the KZ's engine and ditch the 2 stroke idea to keep it simple. Still waiting on stock wheels. Stock meaning GSXR. Anyone know if Busa wheels are the same as GSXR1000?? Stock KZ wheels would be the doo doo on this bike. Anyways. Time's super limited these days but I saw people posted so I figured I'd ramble a bit. You guys are my motorcycle talk buddies. Well, until next time see ya!! I'll have pics and something done for sure. Maybe after christmas I'll have some more free time to make more useless posts to hopefully make some fun for someone. I hate being busy.

DOH! Damn it Mark!

Oh crap, my bad... Actually the americanclassic.com CC Sprocket is a 15 tooth count @ 13.5mm.

americanclassix.com/kawa_improvements.html

Oh sonsabitch! They changed from the 13.5mm to 12mmm (1/2") and they also offer it in 530 pitch, unknown tooth count!

sonsabitch, this would have saved me on having to order a new rear sprocket for it already had a 530 on it... sonsabitch!!

Pls ignore my previous post here, I decided it best to pose my question over in the Tech/Chassis side rather than risk hijacking this thread.

That said, I'm following this thread with great interest, so pls keep the updates going. You see, I've also got a GSXR1000 front end waiting to be grafted onto a Z1 eventually.

You can only be young once, but you can be immature forever!

Rebuilt the carbs on the RD and deleted the oil injection pump crap. Figuring out all the rigged stuff on it. Bought them from some dude who was trying to relive his past working with his present day rigging skills. Some people have no business trying to fix things. Here's some pics. Mine is the white one. Note the sweet decals on the yellow one. I also had to repair the fuel tank and am gonna weld on a 3/8" bung or 22mm to have better petcock options. Pretty neato.

I got some Busa wheels sitting here on loan to test fit to the KZ. They don't have bearings in them. Anyone know if they fit GSXR1000 '01 suspension. I've heard I'll need spacers but don't know for sure. Hopefully I'll get them on somehow sometime soon. So I can have some pics so I don't get murdered.
