Hello from Kingston Ontario. I finally bought my KZ 1100 shaft 1982. It was a rider and will remain one. with only 36800km. I am restoring it with a low budget. (under 2500$ can to complet)....we will see if I dont get too excited with new suspension at the back $$...Anyway i am happy to be among KZ lovers.
Please tell me waht you think of my catch. ....Also, How to know if I should add a oil cooler? the engine is almost stock for now.

Talk to you soon.

Welcome aboard! You do not need an oil cooler. The average warmest temperature in Ontario is 25* C (77* F). That's not at all warm! The average summer temperature where I live is at least 10*F higher and often exceeds 100*F. I don't have an oil cooler and have had zero oil related issues with my KZ650 since I bought it 40 years 97,000 km (60,000 miles) ago. Ed

Welcome. The more you do to it to get ponies, the hotter it will run. I didn't run one for many years but now I need it. 115 average in the summer.
