New to KZ bikes and the forum

Hi fellas. I thought I'd join this site as I just acquired a 1981 KZ550. It was a basement find not quite a barn find. I found this bike in the depths of downtown San Francisco. I was replying to a craigslist ad for free motorcycle parts and 2 free motorcycles. The owner asked if I could help him take out two motorcycles from his basement. I said sure since he just gave me some free parts. He had a 1975 cb750 and this complete 1981 KZ550 with about 9,500 miles. He also had this Kawasaki full fairing 400cc race bike that looked old and rare. Anyways, we had to literally lift both bikes out of this sunken basement. It took about 30 minutes. I sold the cb750 cuz I had two already, but never had a KZ. I did all the basic maintenance on the KZ and it started like a champ. I just need to fix the brakes and should be ready to ride.

Welcome, there are different ways to download pictures, I use Photobucket (careful these photos will be in the public domain). You open a log-in and upload your photo, once uploaded click on the photo you want to publish in the forum and it gives you a few different options on the righthand side, use the last option by clicking on the file name, once this is done you just go to the forum and click PASTE, you can then PREVIEW and check if the photo is there'

Other members have also included instructions using other methods as well.
First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, 1983 fully recon motor fitted LOVE THIS BIKE
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as FJ above)

If you have "Paint" on your PC you can use it to reduce the picture size. Ed

Quickest-easiest way to crop/resize is using office. Right click file and that's one of your options besides paint on a PC.

MAC I have no clue.
