Hey guys! New here from central MA!
Just picked up two KZ400's. Got a good deal on them as they're both 99% there. One has 8000 miles, the other 5000. Part of me wants to build up two bikes, the other part of me wants to build a café/brat bike and have a spare parts bike. Who knows, we'll see when the project gets going.
Neither motor is seized, so that's a good starting point at least. Haha.
Here are a couple pictures. As you can tell, one is a drum, and the other is a disc, so I may "restore" the hub-brake bike as an original and café the disc-brake bike. We'll see.

Life's a tour, not a race. Just stay out of my way when I'm touring.

The Red one is a 75', the Blue one is 74'. The guy I bought them from also had a 78' with 11k on the clock, but the engine looked different from these two. I wanted to get the two with the lowest miles and the same running gear in case I need parts down the road.
I think the 74' and 75' have the D3 motor and the 78' has the B.
