Hello all, I am picking up an 82 KZ550 ltd Off a friend that is moving across country. I have had my motorcycle licence since I was 21 but never actually owned my own bike till now. I always borrowed my dad's or uncle's HARLEY so I never bothered to buy one. (Rode my dad's bike more than him). My interest in other bikes has always been there because I have always found harleys to be obnoxious....or, maybe it's the owners.
I didn't know much about the KZ until my friend offered me this one for sale. I had always written it off due to displacement. But I have learned that the Kz is an awesome bike and I'm looking forward to getting her on the road.
Anyway, she is a 1982, with 22k miles on her and she has been buried in my buddies garage since 2010. She ran great prior to that. (He bought it as a first bike and dropped it in the yard breaking the clutch handle. It sat in the garage since) so she needs some freshening up.
