New member from Ohio. 1980 KZ750e
24 Mar 2016 20:05 - 24 Mar 2016 20:06
I've been getting a ton of ideas around the forum recently and wanted to introduce myself.
I bought my KZ in May of last year for $900. First time owning a motorcycle and I found a decent deal. I rode the bike as is last season with little to no issues, and even made a trip out to Mid-Ohio for the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. I fell in love with riding and decided to start a minor restore. At the moment I'm having the front fork seals replaced and unfortunately a stud in the lower axle clamp removed and replaced. As soon as I get her back, I'll be replacing broken and warm parts with with new.
I've attached a few pictures from the way I received the bike to how she sits now.
Look forward to continue learning more and I appreciate all the valuable information I've already received!

Bought it running. That's a good sign.

That was a great deal. Around here that would probably go near double what you paid. Looks to have original paint in nice shape.
