Just bought an old 1982 kz1000p! She runs, needs a bath, and has higher mileage(33k) im stoked to get her ready for the riding season. She needs a few minor maintenence items addressed but overall in pretty good shape. As for me, im an early 30s it nerd/backyard mechanic.

I dont pick her up till wed. But snapped a few pics when i made the deal today.

wow you're quick lol. had to switch from mobile to my pc to post them with the correct bbcode.

Oh and i do have the side covers with the police decals on them they were just off the bike at the time

Welcome aboard! "Higher mileage"? Not on these bikes - 33k miles is barely broken in. :)

Good to hear about the mileage, thanks! Cant wait to start in on going over her fully and getting the needed maintenence going.

welcome Mayor ,Ed is right that is nothing for one of them, i have a csr1000 with 4,000 miles on it looks like it came strait from a show room ,you will get plenty of help on here great bunch of people ,enjoy the ride B)
