Hello From Michigan
27 Jan 2016 18:01
Hello From Michigan, New user here. I've owned many kz's , my favorite bikes. Last one I rebuilt from the ground up a 1978 kz1000. I had to sell it to help my son out. Well, Now I'm Building a "Mutly" It's a 1982 kz750LTD frame, 1979 650SR engine with 6,000 original miles
1974 Z1 front end and gauges, and various odds and ends that appeal to me over the years of the KZ. I will definately be needing hep and Advice. No pic's yet It's in pieces. I will dig up My KZ1000 pics and add them tho.

Welcome from East Tennessee!
Whereabouts in Michigan??
Back in 1973, I was stationed at "Port Austin" AFS in Michigan, near Bad Axe best I remember. I think the closest city of any size at that time was "Bay City"??
Beautiful during the Summer, Brutal during the Winter!!, total of 50-60 of us at this remote site best I remember, We did have a real nice NCO Club on site! Opened at like 10am..... MAN!! We drank a LOT!! LOL
