introducing myself

Well. I've already asked the forums help, may as well introduce my self. Names Caleb, I own a beautiful 79 kawasaki kz1000 named cali due to that's what I first got her for was a trip to California. I'm a young rider-19yrs old. I've had cali for 2 years. But she was stolen and badly beaten. I just found her with the help of my brother and she's back on the fast track. My kz isn't the first bike I've rode. I grew up riding actually, though atvs and dirtbikes originally but it was a natural transition. Fell in love with my kaw and it seams they're the bike for me.

Welcome. That's a good start. It takes time and of course money. Plus a little love. Mine sat for 15 years. Had to go through it stem to stern.

Idk if mine will look like that very soon lol. Your kaw is a beaut. Plan on keeping mine completely original. Ugly rack and all. Cali is a bike I hope to ride until it's time for my little one to take over

I bought Bossie when I was 21 in 75. Made two babies, went everywhere and did a lot of things. Yours looks good already. One thing at a time. The more you put in to it, the more she will give back.

First owner? Impressive if so. Mine had one. As far as I know that is. No title No proof. Thank God for antique titles

Had a wreck in 86. It's now a salvage title. Far from stock but she is all mine.

Mine was a gift. From my brother, he found her in the scrap and was going to keep it, but I was heading out for California on foot and he thought I'd put her to better use. I've rode her hard and laid her over more than once on the back roads. But she just keeps moving. Brother has a 82 kawasaki kz1100 now. Can't wait to get on the roads with him again. We love these old kaws
