New member from Norway.

Hi!

Ive been luriking around reading up on helpful stuff on my GPz750 r1, and thought it was about time to register and say hello.
this is my 8th bike that i got when i had to sell my gold 72 H2 750.. suddenly found myself with not too much money and alot of need for another motorcycle and got lucky and bought this GPz for arprox 1200 dollars US. its in nice enough condition but it had been sitting for 7 or so years.. What ive done so far are carbs, carb boots, airbox rubbers. some brake service, changed oil and are changing out the fork seals as they have puked all over the front end.. will do a carb sync soon and then check the valves after that. maybe get some new tires for next years riding season. This is my first time wrenching on a 4 stroke, but ive done alot of work on my previous bikes.But still glad to have this forum and the FSM.

Welcome sverre! Looks like it's in really good shape. Can you post some pictures up for us to gander at? You should adjust any of the valve that need it prior to syncing the carbs. Would have to re-sync after a valve adjustment anyways.

aha! i didnt know that, seems like its already paying off becoming a member here hehe..
