Right now I have a 75 Z1 pending sale and a 79 Ltd. The Ltd is supposed to have an 1105 kit and some work and it may very well may have, it runs VERY good!! It's downfall is paint, it's magenta in color, wheels are also magenta where they were originally black. I have a set of tins out for paint and will put them on if price is right. I'll take pics tomorrow while I'm at there and post them up.

Please do post pics if you can!

I'd be more interested in the '79 LTD than the Z1. Paint is not such a big issue if the machine is right. My main concern is getting a solid runner that I can use every day without stopping to fix stuff. I have a CB750 project I'd like to start before long, but I don't want to wait to ride and these KZ's are reported to be really nice bikes.

Feel free to send me a pm or email if you get time, Les.

I love the southwest U.S. There's no other place quite like it. Wanna do the PCH one of these days starting on the lower end.

I grew up in Santa Monica and Malibu in the 60 and 70"s. It was great. In the 90's I had to work in Laguna and Costa Mesa. I had to stay in Motels during the week. It was horrible. Driving into that Sea of Humanity every Monday was the pits. PCH is a parking lot now. I used to ride my bike to San Diego or north to Santa Barbara just for fun. Wouldn't try that now. I couldn't live in a apartment where you can't spit without the neighbors knowing about it. So here I'll stay.

I can't remember the name where the bike night is on Thursdays. I will ask my friend in Louisville the name of both of them.

I am in the Fort Knox area now and will be heading to Louisville later today. My friend mentioned going to bike night. I will ask him the name of the other gathering and the location.

I just moved to Knox about a month ago and I have my Z1 with me.

the Louisville vintage group has a bike night on Wednesdays at Barret Bar in Louisville, I think Bardstown Rd.
