Welcome Rob from over in the middle of the country (Ontario)and nice score. I also agree with keeping it unmolested. The header looks like my old Wolf header. That may be worth something too

Welcome from T.O. and lucky you that is great find.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

The mags look like Henry Abe, might be worth some money. Keep them or sell and get spoke wheels.

Been a VERY long time since I've been on here but I wanted to send a quick update...

The Z1B I found in the barn has remained unmolested and will be kept in period correct form as it sits. I purchased new coils for it and spent some time on it last weekend, and voila... I know have a running driving 1975 Z1B-900... Carbs were cleaned, fluids changed, some wiring completed, but it sounds GREAT... the 4 into one exhaust sounds mean... I was shocked at how well it ran within 1/2 hour of firing it up...

So... another one saved... I purchased a GSX-R 750 to butcher on the racetrack.... This old Kawi is gonna be my cruiser....

I have started the lengthy process of obtaining papers for this bike here in BC and hope that I may be able to actually put this thing on the road this summer.

Still need to locate some parts, but hopefully with some luck I can find some used here in the very near future...

In case anyone has parts laying around... I'm in need of a SEAT, Rear Fairing, Side covers, AIRBOX and a left rear turn signal and stand off (chrome)

I'll get some updated pics here shortly and possibly the video of it's first fire up since 1992...

Thanks for all the advice... I'm so glad I didn't chop it up...

Rob.
