Hi everyone, just bought a 1976 KZ900 after much searching. Looking to modify it to make it my own. I have participated in forums before so I know its a great place to meet people and exchange info and ideas. looking forward to talking to everyone. Best regards

No just got it so this is from the previous owner. Unfortunately seems he was either untruthful about the condition of the engine or he was a crap mechanic. After only a few miles I had to park it as engine is making some noises similar to a coffee can with marbles in it. Also bike will barley run and seems starved for fuel. Looks like I will need to tear it down and confirm the condition of at least the top end. More posts to come unfortunately in the tech section. :(

these are pretty stout old engines,hopefully you caught it before it try's to eat itself.
