While I learned a bit about the vacuum ports from that it didn't reference my main confusion with the fuel ports. Thank you all the same.

I think Ill make a thread for it. Someone may find it useful one day.

First thing I do when getting a new to me bike is
Rebuild carbs
Oil change
New spark plugs
Fully charge battery
Check for spark at plugs
With this thing done...every time bike starts right up

I finished cleaning and rerouting the carbs today as well as fitting new plugs. Started up with some starter fluid and ran well.

So happy right now.
