A new KZ650 in Chicago!
20 Jun 2014 14:01
Hey all,
I'm excited to start this journey of owning a motorcycle, and I couldn't be happier that it's with a KZ.
Just picked up last week! 1977 KZ650-B
25K miles, stock airbox removed (ugh), red paint job (looks pretty decent), not stock seat, but in overall great shape!! Chrome still shines, and fairly minimal rust throughout.
Carbs do need tuning cause of the pods. Just got my Clymers in the mail today, so I'll be changing the oil right off the bat. Looks like theres way too much oil in there right now, my crankcase breather is all oily and I can't even see the oil line in the window.
Welp, I've overstayed my welcome-- Happy riding!

AWESOME! Thanks a lot for the info.
This line was my favorite:
