Greetings from GA!

Hey guys I'll keep this short and sweet. My name is Joey Burg, I'm 29, live in Suwanee GA, and I work for a small IT firm out of Lilburn. I just bought an '82 GPz750 . This is my first bike and is currently undergoing a restoration. I'm about to create a project thread so you can all come chat with me and tell me what I'm doing wrong! I'm VERY happy that I found a community with so much collective knowledge.

I'm very mechanically inclined and have spent many years working on the various trucks / cars I've owned however motorcycles are a new thing for me so I'm fumbling my way through this. I have a great support network of family and friends in addition to the interwebs, so this will be fun!

Welcome Joe! You have definitely come to the right place! A lotta knowlege around here! I lived in Ringgold/Ft. Oglethorpe (NW GA) for three years...I do miss some of the accents, and ( in the Winter, especially!) the weather! Y'all hang 'round now, heah? ! And post LOTSA pictures! (we like pictures!)

haha! Well I'm not THAT southern but I definitely will post pictures, I have tons, now I just need to figure out how to post them inline with my posts instead of attachments!

I too had a gpz .. I love the front headlight early style fairing.. It isn't for everyone but it's my favorite of all kawis
