Initially I was thinking about new Honda CB1100 because I like a classic look but the price of new bike is too high for me. I decided to buy an old classic bike. The same style and even more character than new CB. I had checked some bikes before I've bought my KZ. I think it was ok shape. It was weathered and dirty when I first time saw it. I brought it home, clean it, polish it and bought some missing parts. The original LTD handlebar was not so comfortable so I installed handlebar from older KZ. Original seat was ready to go so I bought used one. Recently checked valves clearance and compression. Everything is good.

That's how it looks now

Welcome aboard! The bike looks great. If you find the ride a bit squishy you may want to consider replacing the rear shocks. The originals were not great. Also, here's some info you may find helpful. Ed

Thanks Ed! Information on this website is definitely helpful for me. The shocks are next candidates for a replacement.

Kosar:

Welcome.

That's definitely a nice-looking bike.

I'm glad you were able to find one that cleaned up so well.
