Now a member of KZ rider

Finally offically joined KZ rider.
Been looking in as a guess for many years I am the original owner of my 78 Kaw 1000 LTD. Will never sell it. My son now rides it mostly as my back needs more cush LOL. Added turbocharger around 1980 along with all the right parts to keep it running. Rebuilt motor in 2011,( just needed pistons and minor upgrades and still runs great.

I will do my best to stumble thru this computer stuff and figure out how to add pictures.
I saw the relay post and would love to try and help out. I will follow the relay posts. I am planning on going to Vintage Days in Ohio so maybe some of us will meet.
I live in the Ann Arbor Michigan area so I know all about Northern Lites and others. I have been showing my LTD at Bike shows this winter and enjoy bench racing with those who share our passion and have won Trophies for Best Sport Cruiser and Judges choice award for the Bike the Judges Most want to throw a leg over and ride.

Picture is from 1979 just before turbo project. Thought I would start here as a base in my timeline of changes. Pipe is Yoshimura road race pipe, 29 mm smoothbore carbs,1075 wiseco kit, and cams.
Never could just leave things alone or stock.
I promise to take some pictures and post them as soon as my son does it for me.
