Let me re-introduce myself because I've been away so long. I'm Bill aka Kz1100a3.
My 1983 KZ1100A3 shaft has sat in the garage since I was dismounted by a Chevy Lumina 10/25/2003.
I did put stabil in it back then, but untll today it had the same stinky gas it and I fried the starter brushes trying to use a charger/starter to crank it with it's half dead battery.
Well, I'm ordering a new brush assembly from Dennis Kirk and intend on riding again this summer, well, gas prices get a little credit there - btw anyone need parts from a 1983 Chrysler 5th Ave... LOL 10mpg
I ws wondering if any of the members had any idea on where one could get a new/refurb starter armature as min is looking it's age.
Glad to be back on the forum, there were (and hopefully still are) a bunch of great people on here.
