whats up kzrider?

ive been into bikes for goin on 30 years, in order 82 nighthawk 450, 86 ninja 1000, 87 fz 700, 95 cbr600f3, 99 zx7r, 80 ltd 1000,93 cbr600f2 fighter, 86 xr 600r, 95 cbr 900rr, 04 tw200, and im finally building a bike ive wanted for a while, a kz1000 fighter, with a braced frame and modern legs and sneakers, ill be doing a build thread as soon as i take some pics, my donor is a rustbucket csr1000 thats been yard art for a long time, the last sticker on it says 93, the frame is solid, clean paper, and the mill has 6600mi and turns over, everything else is junk, i also have a kz900 for parts, the bodywork is good, motor is junk, wish me luck...

oh yeah, if you see my sidekick forkbeard on here, take it easy on him, hes the sensitive type...

peace

the trouble with you is the trouble with me, you got two good eyes but still dont see...

thanks Leon, i wish i got one before i binned the tank and seat, but i couldnt wait to pull that crap off, the tank was totally rusted out, and the seat was in pieces with a hornets nest in there, the steering is completely frozen, and everything is shot, but damn, that motor doesnt look half bad!!

Hmmmm... I see in your picture Vise Grips, a caulk gun, and a wood chisel in your arsenal of tools. Were these recommended by the previous owner as the set of special tools for this model? :woohoo:

Theres a big difference between mostly dead and all dead.

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.
