New 2 it all

hey everybody logging in from houston texas....... recently bought my first bike, 1976 kz 400, off craigslist....$200 bucks and a lil carb cleaner and it's ALIVE!!!! planning on making a bobber soon and been doing a little research on the tire and wheel combo;) cause that's the main selling point to meB) .tell me what you guys think of my new ride!!!

Welcome! 400s make cool looking bobbers! Wouldn't mind building one myself some day.

We need pics! I'm starting to look for a little bike to make a bobber for the fiance. Truth be told I would probably ride it more. I would go with spoke wheels.

Got this baby bout a month ago....missing a few pieces and learning the hard way with my first bike that you got to pay the cost to be the boss.thought that only applied to old cars and trucks....WRONG!!!Found a few salvage yards in the area that have some real cool guys and gals in them.Love the way i've been welcomed into the brotherhood of Motorcyclist. Lan's cycle(big ups to Ross), Houston cycle salvage(Big Jim is da MAN), and the guys over at Union cycle are eager to help anybody with they bikes..Took her for a test run the other night and got the looks as i put the petro in!!!Loving it man. oh yeah i'm on the northeast side of houston, wayside and 610 baby!!!

He used to have that show on 97.5, but isn't doing it any more. I miss hearing him on the radio. He def. got the shaft. I really like his attitude. He's real, made mistakes, owns up to 'em, and is moving on in a positive direction as best I can tell. He always said "you gotta pay the cost to be the boss." It took me a second to remember where I used to hear that.
