well all.....this bike was last registered in 1985 and have no idea how long it sat before i came along, but she rides pretty good.Today was the 3rd trip to and from work i made on it!!!!

Carbs started acting up so i chem dipped them bad boys...now the bowl on the right carb leaks!! Can't win for losing...

Where does it leak from? Flange, overflow tube, or other?

carbs leaking from the gasket where the bowl bolts up, but easy fix!! didn't get a chance to fix it before i got bad news tha my primary jets are still not clean. gotta take the carbs back apart AGAIN!!! Sucks being me right now......

If I'm not mistaken, those carbs have some jets stacked on top of each other. Make sure you get em all out. Good luck! :)

My first street bike mas a 76 kz 400, great all around bike, and pretty peppy for the size, but i rode a litre bike (z1 900) and i was hooked. I am bobbing my 400 also, cant wait to see what you do with it.

i still ride it 70 miles everyday cause it's my only transpo at the moment was wondering if it will mess anything up by this weekend when i get a chance to tear them down again???
