? about what I've got.

Hi,
I just got a Kawasaki at the junk yard. Couldn't pass it up even though I have no idea what I've got. Can anyone tell me what year and cc the bike is? The serial number is, KZT00AE 097889. It appears that the engine is locked up and it's missing a few parts. Doesn't look all that bad and once I get out of the doghouse, (wife wasn't too happy with me) I'll post some pictures. Would it be worth fixing up or parting out? Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete, in NC

Harm gave you the correct site to dig through, but I can shorten your journey...what you provided is the motor VIN and what we really need is the frame VIN (found on the tripletree). The frame VIN will tell you what model bike you have (A = standard, B = LTD, and C = Police)...the motors were shared between all three styles (e.g. drawn from the same engine series and are inherently uninformative, other than the year ... yours is a 1980 bike).

Hello Pete...could your frame VIN be KZT00B525820 instead of KZT00B25820?
