Your gonna need tires right away. $200 (cheap tires + ballancing) or more for that.
needs a tail light bulb, new fork seals, regulator, rear master cylinder, tires.
That'll be a couple hundred more $$. If you have to pay someone, double it.
How many miles on her?
I'd not offer more than $1000.

Actually, the bike has new tires, fork seals, rear master cylinder and regulator... needs a tail light bulb (sorry for the grammatical errors, I am a victim of the public schoole system lol. 20,600 on the odo...
Well, I suspect the bracket prices might be US$1500 to US$2000...if you can get it for less, then you are doing well...other factors are:
(1) how hungry you are
(2) how hungry the owner is
(3) the motorcycle market in your local area
(4) how nice the weather is

As of right now:
there seems to be a gremlin in the electrics... lights and display dimming etc. so that's the 1st order of business. Also small amount of smoke upon startup (valve seals???) the tachy doesn't work and one of the carbs has a sticky float.
I am planning on:
new clutch
rebuild the carbs
new sprockets and chain
valve seals
and maybe rings...
any other suggestions?
