I don't think that is a KZ1000A... it appears to be a B (LTD) because of the stepped seat and turn signals. Look on the steering neck for the manufacture date. If it is early in the year, it is probably that years mode but if it is late in the year it is probably the next years models such as 9/77 manufacture date means it is probably a 1978 model. You can check the VIN to be sure on

. Last, buy some new side cover grommets from Z1Enterprises.com (call them) as the original side cover(s) blew off. The grommets get old and loose fitting and the side cover blows off. The new, aftermarket side cover may also blow off otherwise. Welcome

thats a kz 1000A look at the stamped rear footpeg brackets on frame,ltd used the waterpipe looking things like z1

Manufacture date of 02/1977... and I believe it's a KZ1000A1 not an LTD. Just scored a rusty but complete exhaust system (minus baffles) for $129.00 delivered! Anyone want a slightly rusty but complete mongrel 4 into 1 system?!? (See other thread 1977 KZ1000 resurrection)
