Hey guys just picked up a 1977 KZ1000 thought I would say hello. I currently ride a 2006 buell xb12ss which I love but I need to go old school now and again I have always loved Kawy's and finaly got one. :side:

Welcome brumbear...LTD or the Standard model? I have several KZ1000A1's that I find nice looking but they won't handle as well as the newer Buell's:) Actually, I was considering a new Buell as late as last fall but ultimately settled for nothing...thought I'd save my money for another GPz or two or maybe an ELR.

A good friend has a Firebolt which he let's me ride. Veeerrryyy nice! I would like to own one. (But I wouldn't give up my Classic KZ's to get one!)

I have been waiting a very long time for this bike believe it or not I have always loved the KZ's from the Mad Max days of my youth.
My favorite bike was for a long time the gold Spectre I even put money down on one in the eighties but ended up buying a honda magna instead a purely monetary decision at the time

Yes. Go to www.zedder.com then to bike specs by cc then by model and see where yours falls...remember the true VIN by which model is determined is the frame VIN, so look that up.:)
