Hey guys!

I've been reading this forum since I got my bike in early summer but I finally decided I should become a member. I should have just done it then. Whatever. Anyway, I've gotten a lot of help from all your posts already and my '81 KZ650 H1 CSR is starting feel the love. It's a semi-rideable project that right now is being stored for the winter. It's treated me well and I love this bike. I definitely have the KZ bug. I'll post some pics although they aren't recent.

Current mods (in pics):
Removed rear fender
awkward turn signal mounts (no room on drag bars)
Drilled baffles
Drag bars
New tires

Post pic mods include:
Low Pro turn signals
Shaved seat(Cafe style)
Carbon Fiber Look mirrors

Mods to come:
Mag front wheel (spoked one isn't true)
4-1 exhaust/jetting/Pods
Small Tail Light
Side mount license (yeaaa booyyy)
Head bearings
New chain/sprockets

Steering stop to prevent large ass dents like the one I had to pop out, unfortunately after my dump

Solid front rim from an '81 KZ550

ZX6R Taillight

Suzuki (GS500?) Tailcover (heavily modified to fit)

New dual headlight setup after my ramp slid off the chrome bumper and the bike turned upside down on aforementioned bumper.


I still love her, ride her, and treat her with care when she needs it. She still likes to romp.

Oh yea I forgot, changed fork seals, chain/sprockets

Putting on the 26 tooth rear this weekend!
