am I making a mistake

In about 2002 I had a small service business and shortly after our area experienced two tornadoes I received a letter from my insurance company that they were going to have to raise my rates for my contractor's liability insurance due to "recent financial setbacks" in my state. Yeah right, they had to pay out and decided they had better make more money!

I wouldn't be so quick to modify that particular 1100R- my buddy sold his for $ 4600.00 US to a guy in Europe,years back when the US dollar was real strong vs. loonie.They didn't make that many 1100 R's and rarity has value.Most of them are gone for the head & crankshaft alone...

Now that's a sweet looking bike. Thanks for the offer of help. When I start my project, I'll probably be talking to you. What kind of front end did you use? and was it already black or did you have to paint the forks.

Thanks.ZRX1100 or 1200 cant remember but they are the same and yea the forks and tripleclamps are black from the factory.
Jack has a point but like I said the conversion is reversble if you want to go back to original. This was also my concern so I have all my original parts put away Just incase . So yea let me know if I can be of help when ya get her started. Cheers
