Second that!!!!!!   The '69 Z28 to me is the ultimate muscle car!!!!!!

Still remember the first time I heard one of those motors. Valve overlap to the max!!!!!

The original drivetrain is tucked away.  I built a 406 with 11.5 : 1 pistons, cnc ported AFR heads, 850 double pumper, port matched single plane, 1 7/8 headers and 3" exhaust for a little added fun. The  Muncie has been replaced with a TKO 600 five speed into a four series posi.  I just get by on pump gas.

I got it as a stalled restoration.  the blue had been sprayed but not the stripes.  I had to spray the stripes and assemble it.  Since it was apart it was easy to make a few "upgrades".  The changes lower its value but increase the fun factor ten fold.  I did a little to the suspension too.  Guldstrand drop, IROC steering box, aftermarket four wheel discs, bigger sway bar, frame connectors.... It would not be too difficult to go back to stock but after I'm gone someone else can worry about that.

This there any value in the old Schwins. I have a 1979 vintage LeTour 12 speed that I have figured out what to do with.

 

Schwinns are collectable but the bad news is a '79 wound not typically be considered old enough.  Also, IIRC all  LeTours are "Schwinn approved" but not built by Schwinn and don't usually get the attention of "Schwinn boys".  My guess is you have a $50 to $150 dollar example.  Check eBay for current trends.  A problem is shipping.  People don't want to spend 75-125 to ship bikes in this price range.

Yeah boy.  Those are worth some good coin.  I'm not sure how much but they definitely hold some value.

We used to jamb our baseballs into crook of the nut buster bar. Never lost one.

2nd that! DZ 302 screaming small block! Classic Engine built in the Tonawanda Engine Plant, they had the forge right there also, forging all the engine parts! I grew up 5 minutes from it! Right along the Niagara River.
I painted an old Shovel Generator Chopper for a friend using the HUGGER ORANGE color few yrs. back. I still have a pint of the paint sitting!

Wow! Has my garage changed in 3 yrs!   Too much stuff!
