Points cover shenanigans

Points cover shenanigans was created by MadShad
I purchased a cheap plastic points cover off of eBay that had a gold insert in it. I didn't end up liking the way it looked when it was on the bike, but I was stuck with it at this point.

I had an old hat/lapel pin that I liked the look of but didn't have any use for. I decided to mount that in the center of the points cover and have my buddy make a vinyl circle to cover up most of the gold and make an outline for the pin.

Doesn't look like much until you're get right up on it but I'll run it for awhile.

I've got a stock one in decent condition, this one was $21.00 shipped. Plastic, "poly chrome"

I do like the finned stuff, I'd honestly like it in raw aluminum.
