I don't want to know when my wife calls, when I'm on my bike - I ride for a long time then check my phone when I'm miles from home, then if there's some problem requiring my attention, when I return her missed call, I get to enjoy the long ride home too :) You can justify it all on the grounds of safety, it would be dangerous to get distracted by a phone while riding.

How about fitting a container for your favorite hot drink inside the headlight bucket with a straw coming out through that hole, the heat from the bulb will keep your drink warm and if the bulb goes, you'll feel your drink getting lukewarm and know to pull over. Caffeine and/or sugar to keep you alert and a built in safety device, I can't believe Kawasaki never thought of that.

Theres a guy on eBay right now that has 2 NOS ones. The Kawasaki p/n he wants $95 plus $75 shipping. The Honda p/n he wants $65 plus $15 shipping. :S
