Just got bike back up and running and I had forgotten from last year the one thing on bike that drives me nuts. loud rattling sound from fork covers at certain revs, (2500-4000) They are loose sitting on old worn out rubber dampers I assume. Bike is a 79 kz1000st. Anyone know if new rubber dampers will quiet things up and if so where would a guy find em. My crutch part place has always been Z1 Enterprize but can't find them anywhere on site. Seems like a pretty cheap simple little part that must be mass produced... but who has them? Anyone?

tks,
s

I use fat O rings. Tried other gaskets but refuse to buy NOS junk for the price on gold.

thanks, will try O-rings, easy to find anywhere. anything has to be better than the rattle.
