KZ650 B2 pinstripes

I am having my KZ650 B2 painted back to stock (luminous blue), but instead of decals i'm having the pinstripes painted on. Can someone measure the distance from the bottom of the tank to the bottom of the stripes upper and lower? I found some pictures to help the painter out, but he asked me if i could get some measurements. thanks.

I would be delighted to help you get her back to that beautiful Blue, but I have stripped and repainted my tank already...I made a template/tracing of my duck tail stripes, but forgot to do tank before stripping/painting , dernit! Folks might find it helpful if you added the year of your bikes to your signature...the stripes are different through the years..Good luck, post pics!

i found enough photos on the internet that i think he will be ok. still waiting on paint, just like everything motorcycle 2 weeks really means 2 months. will post pics soon. I thought B2 might be enough as it means the b model from 1978. i guess ill change it sometime.
