ok so I been thinki nabout painting some carbon fiber effect I didnt want to
have to clean my paint guns out so I took an old tank and no I didnt sand it
and some spray bomb Krylon I only had black and silver limited it, but
I think it warants using all 3 colors (black silver and dark Grey)
so I am gonna do some perfecting this week in between sanding lol

the carbon may look better if u lift the mat after the black and offset it slightly for the silver . this will give it a shadow and more of a 3d look.

yeah the way I saw it done the is one more step that is a charcoa; grey laid sown
offset over the black and silver I will practice it with my paint gun and the right
colors this week on decrnt piece to try and get the hang of it.

im gonna see if the grphics department has a piece of carbon fiber vinyl for refernce
material a littler easier to paint something when you can see it in front of you

ok weI have had some time to spend at home so I got the tank sanded
now this tank has had the emblems shaved and I have been wanting to
try to replicate the emblems in paint so... after sanding and sealing the tank




measured out where the emblems go and cleared it



this morning I soaked it down with the wetting agent
sprayed it off



chromed the side where the emblems will go
now this area has to be cleared and snaded to start my emblems
but they wont actually come til later in the project
kind of like do a step then start over lol
