1977 650 gets new skin...

Too bad about the blue LED's. I happen to have white ones, so I guess I need to swap them out. I figured I would have to lower my plate, so its new bracket time now...

OK, I heeded your advice and went with red. It doesn't quite match the seat color, but I plan to make the seat all black anyway. I went with cherry red and then sprayed orange mist on the tops of the parts.

I also removed my chrome fender and used a universal fender from JCWhitney I got on ebay for $9.00 and ground it to fit. I adjusted it until the air fin pointed at the oil cooler then painted it to match.

I added chrome speedo and tach covers, new chrome grips, and new chrome bar nut and clamp. Oh yeah, I also changed the blue plate lights to white...

All in all not too shabby. What do you all think now? Any more hints or advice?

looks pretty good to me, id have to agree with the black on the seat i have used upholstery paint in a spray can with excellent results. i would also use the orange cler on the covers and shocks they looh too red now but it looks great :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I think the all black seat will look better with the new paint.

PS: I still like the 750 spectre better lol
