Well gents, took the bike out for a routine ride to get some groceries, and then I laid it down.

After it immediately happened, I had a life flight medic and an EMT in training stop and help me. Little banged up and some road rash but other than that I’m cherry.

now starts our rebuild 2.0! After it happened, I jumped up and took the helmet off, then I had to turn off the bike. It was still running on its side. Called my folks and had them come with my bike ramps and we loaded up and took it home. Currently icing my knee as it has begun to swell. But other than some neosporin on my back the jacket and helmet took the most damage. Thankful I wasn’t going fast and there were people around me that knew what they were doing, hurt or not. The wife was behind me in her car so she saw the whole thing. The whole experience has definitely solidified her never wanting to ride with me ever again. Cant say I blame her.

So far my parts list includes:
1.  handlebars
2. points cover
3. probably need to replace the case savers(which worked beautifully I might add)
4. tachometer
5. new front tire
6. starter button switch
7. Right side muffler
8. Clutch lever (release switch came off)
9. Possible throttle cable (needed to replace with a shorter one anyway because of handle bar change)

I will of course be posting pictures of my progress as things get ordered and replaced on the bike.

Oh boy!

Good luck on your recovery, and bike rebuild.  The damage looks minor.  There are tons of 750 LTD parts on ebay.  You should be able to pick up what you need relatively cheap.

This shit happenes to me in 2008, thought i can quickly take an off ramp on the german autobahn @ +200 km/h after i overtake a Porsche 911.
After a 100 meter bull ride over the green carpet i hit a tree with my helmet and slowly drop the bike (2k Hayabusa) on the left side.
End of story: helmet visor cracked, bike left faring and stator cover get some scratches and my ego really pissed about my own stupidity.
So, shit happends, lesson learnd (cold weather conditions) and keep in mint it could be more worse. Time will heal and recover your (mental) wounds.

Thank you both, I’m all good. Like you said my ego is hurt worse than anything. Once my knee heals up a bit, I will go about disassembly and make sure the neck, forks, and triple trees and front rim is not bent. There are a good amount of Kz750H parts on eBay, the biggest issue currently is finding a right side only case saver.

Glad you're in one piece - the bike doesn't look too bad either all things considered.

I’m happy for you that it wasn’t worse. Take some time to heal, and stock up on parts. Then get that thing rideable again.

Thanks Mikaw, I ordered a replacement front tire for it today. Another Dunlop D404 to match the rear tire. $40 to mount it and balance it at my local motorcycle shop.

I ordered the handlebar set yesterday. Emgo 23-12561 Chrome Finish. $30 off Amazon. I definitely like these bars over the OE bars.

The only large thing I have left is the tachometer and indicator light cluster. I found a decent one on eBay for sound $50. Haven’t make that purchase yet. Waiting on payday to comfortably make that purchase. I’m not in too big of a hurry because the average high around here right now is a crisp 40°. Less than perfect riding weather.
