Hi, I am having a LOT of trouble getting the front lower engine mount bolt to break free. I have the nut off, but cannot get the bolt to move. I was going to use a torch to heat up either the frame mounts or the engine itself. this is my question. should I heat the frame or the engine?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Do you have the remaining engine mount fasteners loose? If so you should be able to wiggle the engine a bit and relieve the bind on the bolt you're trying to remove.

Use a drift to tap it out, if it still won’t ‘budge hit the cases with some heat. Lots of penetrating oil won’t hurt either.

Soak it with Kroil for a couple days and it should move without too much difficulty. Ed

Thank you all for your replies, I have tried a brass punch (still did not move). I will try removing all other bolts and moving the engine to free it up (one day this week).

Instead of removing all of the other bolts, maybe try just loosening them.
Is the engine blocked or is its full weight still on the frame?

Seafoam deep creep is an excellent oil to use. I usually let that set for a day or two soak it up again and hit it with a heat gun or a hair dryer we can't do much damage with that and it will create a little wiggle then you can work it back and forth quarter-turn at a time hopefully
