Hey guys I know some of you have wired your own bike, I would like to see how you've done it for a little motivation this winter.

I haven't done this, but to help your question - what exactly are you after? Are you intending to re-make the stock wiring loom with new wires/components, create a new loom to work with modifications the bike has, or are you after a minimalist loom (run the engine and basic functions with all unnecessary features removed). All have been done before.

If you are doing  your own loom from scratch then first pick up a Motogadget m.unit it will make that can be a pain in the ass fairly simple. Calum is doing this right now on his thread below on his Z1000 build, its 100% worth a look if this is what you want to be doing.

Search KZR for bare bones for mattylight by loudhvx >> the topic has a bunch of simplified wiring diagrams.
Some of the diagrams may be missing but AFAIK most of them are still available.
