Spark plugs instead of b7es was created by Bobdudeman
Morning everybody. Looking for a cross reference to NGK B7es for my KZ650 1978.
any input would be awesome, ty!  The b8es are too cool.

Thanks man, is there anything I can get locally at say AutoZone or advance Auto parts today? I don't think they carry that brand

I've been using ND W22ES-U spark plugs in my KZ650-C1 for the past 20 years and have found them to be superior to the NGK plugs I previously used.  Ed

Thanks Ed.

Looks like I never checked my recent plugs numbers.  Looks like they gave me NGK BR7ES vs the B7ES.  They are already sorta fouled and wet.   Is that due to the R rating ?

Very likely..
The R stands for resistor.
You should only have one source of resistance which should have been in the plug cap.
Adding a second resistance will weaken the spark and increase the chance of fouling.
If you continue to use the BR7ES you should fit non resistor caps.

I've read about people removing the resistor from OEM plug caps, thus allowing use of resistor plugs.
