Lol, kz650 chopper wiring harness 1978

Hi all, I know this is a topic much posted but I am looking for a basic wiring harness diagram for my 1978 kz650.  Going bare bones.  Headlight, taillight, no battery.  Very minimal.  Electric start doesn't work anyway.  I just kick and go but am going to transform this beauty a bit.   Iv done them in the past on other bikes but the diagrams seem east to find.  I'm having trouble with the kz 650.  Thanks again everyone!

The search function is your friend.  This same topic has been posted dozens of times previously.

True, I did some searching but only found other models, not a diagram for the kz650.  Especially the 1978.

What KZ650 is it?

a few of the diagrams may be missing. pages 11-on seem to have the most diagrams.
Pg 35 has diagrams for the 650-D1 SR w 3-phase charging system which might not be stock.

Here is one created by loudhvx for a 78 C2 that does replace the battery with a capacitor - not sure if it will help you or not.
