Where to get SH775 was created by Ojisan rider
Aloha guys.

I'm in the process of upgrading my electrical system for my KZ750. Currently working on my wire harness to clean the terminals if possible (male terminals) and replacing the other (female terminals). I'm also extending and shortening the some of the wire for the clean look and ease of access (for me). I'm doing the whole harness, hence my question.

I'm in the process of getting the SH775 and the harness so if I need to make or modify the harness, now will be the time to do it. However, I'm having hard time getting the "real" SH775. When I do the search, I have bunch of Chinese junk and not the real ones. Where did you buy yours from? How about wire harness? Did you make your own? I have the tools necessary so making my own is no problem, but if there's a harness made for it, then that much more easier and faster.

Any recommendation?

There is a guy on ebay selling new SH775's (the real ones) for $100 + shipping.

If buying on ebay make sure you see the printing on the top fin.  Either SH775AA or SH775AB

Here is another...eBay item number:
124689759041

Our forum software won't allow ebay links anymore for some reason so plug the item number into an ebay search to find it.

Harness cost.  A link would be handy, but with shipping a harness is going to be closer to $20.
I haven't been able to find them cheaper than that. haven't looked in a while, though.

I bought mine a few months ago from Roadstercycle.  Nice guy to deal with and has the real deal SH775.  I bought mine as a kit with longer wires just in case I needed to relocate the unit.  I was happy I got the longer wires in the end because if they had ben any shorter I would have been in trouble and had to splice wires.  The extra expense of the "kit" was worth it to me for a cleaner, easier installation.  As to the Triumph harness, well I bought one of them too and had to order it.  We have no close Triumph dealers to me.  I am still waiting for the Triumph wire harness to come in.  Perhaps it's on a boat in the LA harbor.  Or perhaps the shipping container it was in fell off the boat.  In any event the Roadstercycle kit worked great and I am very happy with it.  As was pointed out to me at the time I posted this pic, the grey wire connecter was not pushed down all the way.  That has been corrected and it is a very solid fit.  I had to adjust the location of the hazard flasher to clear the SH775, but otherwise it was an easy install.  The SH775 bolted in where the OEM regulator had been.

I just made my own. I have two due to a weak stator. One leg was putting out 30VAC where the rest were at 50+VAC. Out of three stators including a new one from z1parts.net all were weak. Found a OEM one for $50 shipped, cleaned up the harness and all three legs are putting out 70+VAC.
It was a crap shoot but well worth it. What kind of stator do you have?

Thanks for the info guys. I'm not sure why my search didn't turn up what some of yo have suggested. I just used SH775 but didn't have it. maybe I just overlooked some of the stuff. In any case, thanks. Now I know where to go.

As for the 775, I may go with what Nessism suggested. But at the same time, $100 for 775, it may sound too good to be true but it does look like the real one. As for the harness, I will look for that part # T2500676 and see what I can came up with.

As to where to install the 775, well, my original RR sits under the battery box, so I most likely to have to relocate the RR somewhere. And since I have to relocate it, I will install it where there's plenty of air movement.
