Probably best to put the old coil back on. You may just have a wiring issue. Wiring issues are time-consuming to find, but can be complicated by replacing parts.
If I can find some time, I'll help you trace out the wires.

Ok, 3am. Time to figure out what your problem is.
Grab your meter.
DC V
Ignition on, engine not running
everything connected

red probe on positive battery post(metal part of battery)
black probe on negative battery post
note voltage

move your red probe to the red wire at each coil (put your probe on the coil's metal post-this will test the red wire connector's resistance)
note voltage of each wire
Your voltage at the coils should be within 0.5V of the battery voltage check.

Yes but please don't stop there lol. I recieved a different igniter today and will try that. I appreciate your help and any information you can send that user friendly lol. I have a manual but it is difficult to understand sometimes. Thank you again. Be well and stay safe. Jon

Absolutely helps. I put the igniter in that I just received,  no change. I did your test and everything was good. I'm lost lol

meter DC V
ignition on/engine off

what is your voltage?

red probe to yellow/red wire at the 6pin connector in pink square(backprobe all the wires from the ignitor side. Do Not Disconnect the connector when measuring)
what is your voltage?

red probe to black wire at the 6pin connector in pink square
what is the voltage?

red probe at green wire at the 6pin connector in pink square
what is your voltage?

red probe at black/yellow wire at the 6pin connector in pink square
what is your voltage?

And check the red wires at the coils again.
I need to know the voltage numbers.
Do not disconnect the wires from the coils.

Just out of curiosity---use the timing light again but put the inductive pickup close to the coils

shut off ignition.

Yellow/red 6.25
black wire 5.90
green wire 5.90
coil for 1/4 5.82
Coil for 1/3 5.82

Woah, You have a huge voltage drop somewhere.
Also check the voltage on the (black with yellow stripe) wire.
That wire should be 0 volts anything above 0.5v is telling you that is a bad ground.

key on/ignition on/ engine not running

meter on DC V
black probe on negative battery post
red probe on red wire at the ignition kill switch(green box).
note voltage on red wire on both sides of the switch(it looks like one side of the switch is red and the other side is yellow with a red stripe).
Tell me what the voltage is.
