Couldnt find one anywhere so I decided to stop being lazy & make one.
Hopefully somebody else at some point will need this.

Tested it this morning with great results!
Left the clips on there so as not to confuse if you still have stock harness.

enjoi!

Do I need the igniter? Or can I go straight from coil to pickup? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I am wiring a kz750h ltd from scratch and really have no clue what I am doing.

You need the igniter as it's part of the Kawasaki electronic ignition. note: the 750-CSR is different from the 750H.

Simplified wiring diagrams. KZR topic by loudhvx. bare bones for mattylight.
see pages 11-21. I prefer to use stock type open barrel terminals & a good crimper. see pg 21.
If you can't find a diagram specific to your bike, a 750H, 750E or 650H csr would probably be the same or close enough.
note: some of the wiring diagrams are no longer there (pgs. 1-10). But from pg 11-on many are still available.

Manual. 750turbo.com --- Index. 1980-84 750-4 & KZ700. 1983-85 ZX750. pdf manual link near the bottom of the list.
yellow/gold cover w color wiring diagrams. get the one listed as ->> GPz750 Base Manual.pdf. good scans.
The one that says full english is a cruddy, photo-copied version. all files except the last one should be pdfs (not exe).

Wiring diagrams. mbsween. bike-night. KZ750L3. Scroll down & click "The Bible" link.
the site has wiring diagrams & a 750-4 pdf manual but it's the poorly copied version.
Note: some of the wiring diagrams are mislabeled in the links: the 1981 Ltd is an H2, the 82 is an H3, & the 83 is an H4.

What exactly do you mean by ignition on your drawing and also the starter next to the ignition on your drawing? I just want everything to be crystal clear.

That is a great reference drawing, and I hope tjgonz doesn't mind me answering for him.

The thing labeled "ignition" is the ignition switch . It is operated by the key.

The thing labeled "starter" is the kill switch and starter button which are in the right hand control unit (throttle control assembly).

This morning I was looking at this drawing and realized what everything was. I built a custom ignition panel with toggles and a push start button on my bobber build that’s what was confusing me. I did it to myself in short haha. Thanks for all your help. This drawing is very helpful!
