Carb vm28ss

Hello everyone, I am installing my z1r Vm28ss on my kz750.. new boots(machined). The holes was not center to the head.. and now another problem, my throttle level is knocking on my chain tensioner. I have cut the bracket at the bottom, but not enough space yet.. do I need to buy manual tensioner to fit these carb on my 750 ?!! The gas key is « ok » very tight to put on/off..

Extended idle adjuster screw unit or....

 

I don’t find anything for these old Kawa carburetor..

You can remove the existing idle screw and fit one at the top like in the attached pic.
The blank casting is there on the backplate and you just need to drill and thread it m6 x 1mm.
You don't even need the correct idle screw just a suitable bolt and spring or shorten and modify the original one you removed from underneath.

 

Thank you for the idea.. im kow checking to buy a Tensioner Kit from a.kz650 on ebay for 45$ canadian.. it looks like shorter than my 750 ?! What are you thinking ?!
