Im sure this is an easy fix and I will do what needs doing, but if anyone has thoughts,  as someone who has a similar problem may stumble along this post and find solutions, then great.

I picked up a 1976 KZ900 last summer. I dont ride it much, but enough to keep things flowing.
The other day I took it to get inspected. On the 7 mile journey, it ran great and pulled hard.

To be honest, it sat for about 7 weeks with ethanol/fuel conditioner in the fuel.

After getting the inspection, I stopped at a local biker hang out spot and chatted with my friends.

I had it on the kickstand for about 1.5 hours. I NEVER park my bike on the kickstand...ever.

Anyway, on the way back home, im doing about 70 and the bike sputters like its choking. I have a voltmeter on the bike and saw the charging system is working fine.
Im thinking the sputtering  issue may have to do with dirt that somehow got in the jets when I had it on the kickstand. I need to put a fuel filter on the bike: maybe dirt from the tank got in the carbs.

Its either that or that the 5 year old ignition coil is (suddenly) fading.  The PO had the ignition coil on for 5 years. I didnt think much of it but now, hmmm.

Any thoughts?

I got a free VPN from Proton mail to try it out. Instantly my IP was from the Netherlands. I was able to change it to USA but I had no control of where. The last time was Texas. It would change locations like I was noticing as a Mod when he would post or reply. In this way he could get a new profile and not be noticed. I suspect another 650 thread was started by him with another name. He even "tipped his hand" with the old timer rebuilt my bike thread. I'm sure he'll be back.
BTW, the VPN screwed up all my other accounts when I cleared my cache. I turned it off and had to log back in to most of them except FB. Telegram was the worst effected on both my laptop and phone. I won't be using it anymore.

He's been getting away with it this time sense January. Each time he gets away with it until the membership catches on.
I realize now I didn't have to draw him out. Everyone knew it anyway.

When I click on the post that is locked titled when someone strangely rebuild your 650. Inside that is his post from some thing like every bike just needs a good screw. What got crossed up there?
