Thanks for the additional pics, but for the life of me (old eyes) can not tell if that is a air screw head in the last pic or a plug or non-drilled passage?  Will say if they are from a Suzuki the ID stamped on them will begin with the number 4.

I'm wondering if they are from a '78 Z1R as they had that type of adjuster rod between 2&3 carb and a single inlet line?

I really don’t think they are 28mm the spigot wall thickness makes me think 26mm.

Here’s the same set, incomplete but the same speed adjuster, vacuum port on number 3 air pilots. I bet they measured the engine spigot and got over 26mm as they should and are calling them 27mm. I’m sticking with my Canadian kz1000A3 26mm

For comparison, here is a set of 28mm with pump but that doesn’t change the outlet spigot. Look at the wall thickness and compare to the OP.

Those carbs ARE VM26SS.
The outlet on #3 carb is for a vacuum fuel tap so rules out all pre 1978 900's and 1000's as they all had manual fuel taps.
With the idle adjuster position underneath they are most likely 1978 Z1000A2 which had VM26SS and a vac tap unless they have both fuel and air mix screws which would make them Suzuki GS.

Thank you kzriders.  Due diligence x2.  Thanks.
I have an inquiry into the seller from this afternoon.
Have Not heard back yet.
I asked; There should be an ID stamped below the choke lever or on the same flange on the outside of #4 carb that may help to ID the set of carbs.  Can you check please ?

Just request the ID measurement of the engine side spigot. More than 26 less then 27 you know they are VM26SS. More than 28 less than 29 they are VM28SS, but they aren’t.
