Z900A4 airbox silencer/snorkel

Hi
Can anybody tell me how to identify between an original and reproduction airbox silencer for Z900A4 please.
Originals being very rare I would imagine to be expensive if they can be found so want to be sure which I would be looking at.
Are reproductions available in U.K.  Ive tried ZPower.

That's a tough one.  Airboxes and silencers are practically unobtanium these days as most of them were discarded in favor of pods back in the day to gain a few horsepower.  Same with the original exhausts.  There are stories of containers full of exhausts and airboxes being sent to the scrapyard in the 70s (ouch!) because they weren't wanted.  I searched for the airbox/snorkel/silencer for my 1000 for many years before I just happened upon one for sale by Johnny's Vintage Cycle in Ohio.  I got the entire unit, including all clamps, ducts, and a new filter.  It's the nature of owning one of these bikes, you just have to keep looking and asking.  Eventually one will pop up but expect to pay a premium.  If someone were to reverse engineer these things and start reproducing them they would make some serious cash but only for a short while since the market just isn't there... yet.

No body is making reproduction A4 air-boxes. The only reproduced air box is for the ‘73 - ‘75 Z1

Im pretty sure I saw a reproduction lately for the KZ. I needed one a few years back and was hard to find so when I saw the reproduction I was surprised . We are talking about the round silencer right.
There is one on eBay now for some big cash
 

Correct, I miss read the post. Yes I have seen reproduction silencers. Evilbay I think.
