Every hardware store sells them.

Thanks guy's it has a nylon washer on the other side with a flat head screw. I couldn't hold this tnut with anything that I have so I'll have to search the web to see if there's a tool to hold it.

Just unscrew the screw. The nut will stay put. Check Pattons pic!

If it is spinning put a drop of penetrating oil on the threads and let it sit for a while then try to hold it with a needle nose while someone else unscrews of the other side, there is no special tool for that.
If that doesn't work maybe some glue or epoxy might help to hold it.
Good luck

You might try to drill it out from the back side. I've done that with fly wheels. Drilling from the front tightens it but from the back, it spins right out.

To help hold the t-nut in position to keep it from spinning while attempting to turn out the flat head screw, perhaps could drill two holes in the areas shown below whereby the t-nut may be grasped with circlip/snap-ring pliars or tips of needle nose pliers. Or could insert metal screws and use a straight edge or nail or whatever between the metal screw heads to hold the t-nut steady while attempting to turn out the stuck flat head screw.

Check with some snowmobilers
. These t nuts are used to hold the studs on the tracks and they may have a tool with 3 prongs to hold it still.
I used to take a pair of needle nose pliers and hold the nuts still by just putting the tips in 2 of the 3 notches and holding on tight
Hope this helps
