Effective last Friday, we are now a dealer for the Delkevic pipes. Finally another option for pipes for these older bikes.

Delkevic pipes

The value for money is good. The pipes are all stainless steel and come with everything to install - including the exhaust gaskets.

It is refreshing to be dealing with a company looking to EXPAND the selection of pipes rather than retire them all.
On most bikes these pipes DO allow you to keep the center stand.

One thing I like about this company is they don't make buying replacement pieces unaffordable. If you damage a muffler, you can buy just the muffler for roughly $100...

The mufflers come with a 2-piece removable baffle. You can choose to be street legal with a more muted exhaust note, or remove an insert for a little more noise, or remove the baffle entirely to irritate everyone around you.... :>)

In recent years we've battled V&H over quality and availability of their pipes - and with their recent ownership change, the price of V&H pipes has gone up.

I love the Kerker pipes, but the price is crazy these days and Kerker rarely even makes the pipes for the KZ's now - we have some on order and have been waiting 3+ months.

Excellent! Too bad you didn't do this earlier as I ended up getting mine directly from Delkevic as they were like the only place to buy then it seemed!

the reason I ask is that I have a chrome Kerker head pipe and might get rid of it to get the Delkevic stainless one instead. what do you think?

Another nice feature, at least to me, is that the oil filter can be changed without removing the pipe from the bike.

Good Fortune! :)

Here's a picture of one on a KZ1000.

You can probably see better here the slight dogleg in the muffler.

To answer couple of inquiries I had from KZRider members.
  • The exhaust flanges are loose on the header pipes - making in easier to slide on the exhaust studs.
  • We can get just header sections or just muffler sections if you need them. Pricing is reasonable - the cost of the header and muffler bought separately is only $20 more than the normal cost of a complete system

They are also making a few more pipes for other models over the next few months. The latest is the 4-1 for the GS1000 (78-80). That just arrived in the USA this past week.

Those are some nice looking pipes alright.just what the old bike market needs IMO.Just when I was bemoaning my lack of choice of pipes for my 82 GPz750 to.Found that Delkavic USA only ships UPS,not a good thing if you live in Canada.REALLY happy to see you carrying these with shipping options for us north of the border!

I'd buy a set for my KZ550 if there was one. Would any fit my bike?

This might be a god send Jeff! I love my Kerker but I hate removing it every time I change my oil! My lady says the Kerker has got to go because I'm always so pissed off after tinkering with it post oil change! Plus I don't have the best mount so it bends my exhuast studs a little. Super excited to buy this exhaust soon!

The only Kerkers I've seen that limit oil filter access are the KR racing series, which are really rare. Those come straight down and collect in the center....no curve for filter access. The Kerker pipes on about 99% of bikes are nearly identical to the Delkevic pipes.
